If you are looking for an early factory style “sports purpose” bar, here it is ! Sold to many early car enthusiasts, this simple replica design is mounted like the Porsche race department did. You remove the hinged rear seat backs, pull back the carpeting at the base of the central B pillar. Remove the paint to expose bare metal there (so it corresponds with the location of the main hoop’s base plates. Position the bar with the separate weld plates attached. Then spot weld the threaded plates. Remove the roll bar, complete the welding task, prep and paint. Reattach the roll bar

We supply you with weld in base plates and all the hardware so it fits right. Note the height of the main hoop precludes installation in sunroof equipped cars. Tall drivers, please contact us for our set back version of this bar

Manufactured from 1.5" chrome moly tubing on the main hoop and DOM mild steel on the support legs, this bare metal bar will bolt in once the provided plates are welded in place.
