A lot of people have contacted us for modifying their 1974-1989 models into tributes to the famed 73 RS Carrera. We have put together a complete package for either steel or fiberglass hood installation. Take the guesswork out of what pieces to purchase, quality of the parts, and fitment.
The steel hood version will require cutting off the front trunk vertical panel, welding in the new earlier version , and installing the supplied hood seal, latches, pull cable, and end channels (included). You line up the new hood to fit your fenders. If you want the best fit and finish, this is the version to purchase.
The fiberglass hood version is supplied with a specially made hood that has the outer skin of the 65-73 model and inner frame of the 74-89 type. This version only requires you to swap over the upper hook and latch when fitting it. < will need minor modification
Besides the front hood options, both kits include the following

Front die cast turn signal housings, seals, black edged euro turn signal lenses, black horn grills, fasteners for same
