Porsche’s race technicians were given the task to make the 911 as light as possible, in order to make the cars perform better. The fabled 911R was born with its sub 2000 pound curb weight. Part of the weight savings came from lighter alternative lamps at the rear of the car.

We have reproduced this set with fiberglass housings, and authentic Hella lamps pre installed for you.

Wiring will have to be supplied by you to connect to the original car’s harness. Our lamps come complete with running and brake lamp on the inner lenses. And running and turn signal bulbs on the outer lenses.

As an option we can substitute the amber/ red lenses for amber / clear so you can have an active back up lamp.

Important note ! 1965-1968 models have a smaller opening and steel housing for the rear tail lamps. No accurate 911R style rear lamps will fit these housings unless the openings get cut out- see pic attached of what the real 911Rs were like.
