In late 1973 Roger Penske, Mark Donohue, and the Porsche factory combined forces to present the International Race of Champions (IROC) . For the first year a group of 15 identically prepared 911s were modified to what is now known as the IROC RSR model.Twelve Drivers from Nascar, Formula 1, Road racing competed on equal footing chasing the championship.

The Porsche IROC RSRs were used for one year only, then sold to others that modified most of them to IMSA and other sanctioned races.

Starting with the RS 3.0 homologated for racing worldwide, these wider than stock 911s had special details that set them apart from their street and full on RSR spec brothers.

We have put together a conversion kit that will enable you to modify your 1974-89 911 to the IROC style.
