The mechanical fuel injection pump is normally mounted to the top of the engine on its base. For the RSR, Porsche felt that added bracing was needed toward the top of the pump to keep it from rocking back and forth on its base from the rigors of racing. We have faithfully recreated this MFI pump brace, along with the necessary plug for the oil pressure light "idiot switch" which must be used, as it interferes with the brace.
