Porsche was looking to extend the range of it's competition cars starting in 1966. They designed a 100 liter version of the gas tank to fit in the original opening on the 911. These tanks were installed in the Sports Purpose cars, including the famed 911R and 911ST . 

TRE has available today a replica of this steel tank. Finished in the original style semi gloss black, the capacity is greatly increased and of course your driving range is extended. There is no decrease in ground clearance, under the car, as the bottom section of these tanks replicates the standard steel tank. 

The price includes a chassis to tank seal.

Requires early tank fittings, available from the dealer
