With the advent of larger sway bar installations on the rear of the 911, the need for a stronger sway bar mounting became readily apparent. In fact- we have seen many 911s with broken rear mountings even when utilizing the standard bars. Our rear sway bar mounts are investment cast and easily outperform even the latest factory reinforced designs. Note that these weld on mounts utilize the later version (1978-1989) U clamps, and larger bushings, as the clamp spacing is wider.
Suggested labor time is approximately 2.5 hours per mount, including seal, prime and paint.
